The Barbie House on Baabe Beach on the Baltic Sea

Daniela Koch has fulfilled her dream and created her own dream home. Inspired by her daughter's passion for collecting, who has an extensive Barbie collection including a Barbie house, she has furnished a holiday apartment in which the entire interior is decorated in pink. In the ‘Barbie House’, located on the island of Rügen and just 90 metres from the sea on the Baltic Sea beach in Baabe, everything is pink – from the custom-designed furniture and decorative items, such as large pink crabs on the wall, to the toilet paper. Only one bedroom is decorated in blue, a small compromise for male guests.

 

Since ‘Pink and Sea’, as the holiday home is actually called, is pretty much one of a kind, it's no wonder that it has been fully booked since it first went on rent on 1 April. We at masunt think it's a great idea and are delighted to have Daniela Koch as one of our customers. Whether the key safe still has its original colour or has also been painted pink is not known, however. 😉
