In addition to the manual master and user codes, the key safes and repositories in the ‘E Code’ series offer the option of creating seven-digit ‘online codes’ with a time-limited validity period that can be conveniently sent to guests, service providers or third parties by email or text message. You must register and link the electronic safe with the online portal operated by Codelocks Ltd., our cooperation partner, at https://www.codelocksconnect.net to allocate online codes. You will receive 20 credits for free when you register to get you started. One credit each is required to generate an online code and to send a text message directly from the portal. Credits must be purchased in advance (prepaid). There are no ongoing costs or contractual commitments! You have complete control from the online portal and can grant and withdraw time-limited access permissions from absolutely anywhere. You determine the code’s validity period, start date and start time. Codes stop working as soon as their set validity periods have elapsed, so the key safes can no longer be accessed. The profile can be used to create additional users who have the permissions to create online codes but cannot otherwise add, edit or delete locks. How do the online codes work?
