With the help of this integration, your guests can receive a valid access code for your key safe for their arrival date (plus the day after) and their departure date (plus the day before) as soon as they make their booking. This allows you to automatically manage access to your holiday property to a high level, and guests receive their access code with their (confirmed) booking.
What is Smoobu?
As a channel manager and reservations system (PMS), Smoobu has offered the option of integrating various portals and interfaces in the Smoobu portal since 2014. The open system allows you to manage the likes of the current bookings received on all booking portals that may be actively used. For more than eight years, Smoobu has already been working with 100 booking portals and records over 400,000 bookings per month. The portal fully automatically synchronises the prices listed on all the booking portals. Thanks to the calendar, you always have an overview of all the bookings.

Smoobu also offers you a website builder kit that you can use to create your very own holiday apartment website. So additional bookings can be made completely commission-free. The prices listed on the various booking portals can be updated automatically in the customer account. How can I generate online codes with my electronic key safe using Smoobu?
To use this service, you need to buy the annual licence for the Smoobu integration from our online shop. Alternatively, you can also purchase the licence over the phone or by email and conveniently pay by purchase on account. After buying the licence, you will receive an email from us, containing all the instructions outlining how to integrate your purchased masunt key safe with Smoobu. Using the ‘Integrations and partnerships’ tab in the Smoobu portal, you can also connect the masunt key handover solutions over an open interface and generate online codes using your masunt key safe. You can complete the setup process in a matter of minutes. Following successful configuration, you can easily send online codes to each guest in an email.
Smoobu – code validity
The guest receives two codes as part of their booking. One code is for their arrival. This code is valid for both the arrival date arrival and the day after. The second code is valid on the departure date and the day before. So, if you have a guest moving into your holiday home for a week from 1 to 8 January, for example, the guest will receive two online codes. The first online code is valid on 1 and 2 January. The second code can be used on 7 and 8 January. This ensures that arrival and departure is a straightforward and completely convenient process for your guests.
