New GoBanyo shower bus launched – supported by donation from masunt
In two months of construction, the non-profit organisation GoBanyo has converted a former high-rail bus into a shower bus for homeless people, giving them access to a safe, clean shower. Under the motto: "Washing is dignity. Everyone has the right to wash themselves. But not everyone gets the chance to do so.‘
In December, the new shower bus was officially unveiled in front of the Millerntor Stadium. This is already GoBanyo's second bus, which now has two shower cubicles instead of one. This is particularly good news, as the first shower bus is now being sent for a comprehensive ’refurbishment" after six years of service. It also offers larger cubicles, hand showers instead of overhead showers, modern LED lighting and smart technology.
We are delighted to be able to support the project by donating masunt key safes 2125 XL. The GoBanyo team uses the key deposit safes to access the warehouse and the keys for the bus.
