The masunt key deposit box is used to store and deposit property keys or other access media.
The housing’s walls are 3 mm thick, and are optionally available in stainless steel quality AISI 304 or AISI 316.

A profile half cylinder (PHC) measuring 30 / 10 mm long is required
(included in the scope of supply).

The PHC used has the following properties:
Adjustable locking nose, three cylinder keys, five pin tumblers, nickel-plated brass,
tested in line with DIN 18252:2006-12, DIN 18252-10, DIN EN1303:2005-04 reg. no. 8v68

A seal in the key deposit box’s frame ensures faultless door locking.

The key deposit box is attached using two slots on the rear (the fastening material for standard masonry is included in the scope of supply).

The stainless steel care oil prevents small particles that later go on to form flash rust from sticking to our solutions. Depending on the weather conditions, we recommend using the care oil and a microfibre polishing cloth to treat your product one to three times a year. If flash rust has already formed on your product, removing it to restore your product to its sparkling splendour is child’s play with the cleaning and polishing paste and the supplied special sponge. The masunt key depot pre-prepared PHZ 840 is the largest depot in our range and is used wherever something else needs to be handed over in addition to one or more keys. The spacious interior offers enough room even for particularly large keys. The 840 model is a symbiosis of two of our classics. The design is based on the 1120 E Code key safe, the functionality corresponds to the M3. Thus the depot is prepared for mechanical and electronic profile half cylinders (30/10 mm). The masunt Key deposit box 740 is suitable for integration into an extremely wide range of third-party systems. Integration and opening are carried out by means of a floating contact (12 V (DC)). It also has an emergency opening function. A profile half-cylinder (30 / 10 mm) is already included in the scope of delivery and can be easily replaced. The safe also has a status indicator (lock open / closed). The interior is insulated. The housing is made of stainless steel (V2A) measuring 3 mm thick on all sides and is designed such that it is difficult to force it open from the outside. Installation is performed using the two slotted holes on the back of the safe. In the compartment where the two locks are installed, there is a hole on the back wall to feed through cables. The solution has been developed for integration into bell systems, lift systems and fire alarm systems, and can easily be used in many other systems. The safe is operated as follows: The safe has an electronic lock inside. This must be controlled externally with a 12 V contact circuit. When an opening signal is given, the safe’s door springs open and the interior can be accessed. Pressing on the door causes it to snap back into the electronic lock, and the safe is then locked again. In the event of a power failure, the profile half-cylinder (PC) visible on the side can be operated with a key. The closing lug of the PC thus presses on a mechanical emergency opening switch on the electronic lock, which also causes the door to spring open.

The masunt service safe offers plenty space for the secure storage of extra-large keys and access media. Keys measuring up to L 160 x W 90 x D 50 mm can be hung on the key hook that is located on the mobile slide in the safe.Check-card sized cards can also be stored inside. The mounting is simple and secure using a mounting plate that is screwed onto the wall. The safe is then hung and bolted to the plate while open. The safe is prepared for use with a profile half-cylinder 30/10 mm (not included with delivery). A corresponding PHZ, e.g.: The ABUS B1L452 profile half-cylinder can be ordered separately. The masunt service safe XL is used for storing property keys. The key or key-cards can be easily deposited on the sliding insert. The masunt service safe can be used in accordance with DIN 14675 as a Class 1 fire brigade key depot. The safe impresses with its high-quality appearance, robust workmanship and ease of use.
