Product information "masunt Key return safe 2129"

With the new 2129 key return safe, masunt offers all the advantages of the 2125 E Code key safe, plus an integrated one-way deposit flap for secure key return.

The 2129 key return safe relies on tried-and-tested quality and is just as robust and resistant. The safe was designed so that even chunky keys the size of a credit card fit through the one-way deposit flap. So storing the likes of modern car keys inserted through the one-way deposit flap is simple and straightforward too.

The keys are deposited using the flap on the right-hand side of the housing. The keys fall into the safe by means of a slide structure. Since the stainless steel slide is locked, it is impossible to fish the keys out of the safe from the outside.

Thanks to the large-walled limitations on the right and left of the inside of the one-way deposit flap, you can rest assured that the keys will remain on the loading area when the safe is opened.

Classic use – innovative online code allocation

The 2129 key return safe can be operated the classic way with a manual code – assigned directly on the unit. But it’s the seven-digit online codes that make this key safe truly innovative. They can be generated using an online portal and are valid for a limited period of time only. The validity period can range from one hour to 365 days. What’s more, the online codes created in this way can be sent directly from the web portal to users by text message or email. Another helpful option is the text message code request feature. This allows authorised individuals with an ID to retrieve a code that is valid for two hours using the online portal. These retrievals are documented and can be traced. The online portal is operated by Codelocks Ltd., our cooperation partner. One credit each is required to generate an online code and for the text message code request feature. Areas of application and potential uses

The key safe provides owners with a simple and convenient way of retrieving keys from customers and guests. It is also a useful addition and extension to the masunt compartment safes and E code models. The one-way deposit flap makes the 2129 key return safe particularly suitable for garages, car dealerships and hotels.

If you would like a free-standing stainless steel wall, the wall shown as an example can be supplied too, fitted with different E Code models. The wall for holding the E Code and R Code key safes is fitted with a roof with rain drainage and can be robustly anchored to the ground. The high-quality stainless steel finish is preserved in the long term too thanks to the cleaning and care set developed specifically for our products. The stainless steel care oil prevents small particles that later go on to form flash rust from sticking to our solutions. Depending on the weather conditions, we recommend using the care oil and a microfibre polishing cloth to treat your product one to three times a year. If flash rust has already formed on your product, removing it to restore your product to its sparkling splendour is child’s play with the cleaning and polishing paste and the supplied special sponge. By purchasing the ‘Smoobu integration’ item, you can connect existing and new masunt E Code safes to your Smoobu account and initiate code allocation automatically through the Smoobu portal. Please note that only models with a seven-digit online code can be used with smoobu.com. Once you’ve successfully set your safe up, you can send codes to your guests directly using Smoobu. One code is valid per booking on the guest’s arrival date and the day after. There is also another code that is valid on the departure date and the day before. This ensures that your guests can arrive and depart in complete convenience. Once you have purchased the ‘Smoobu integration’ item, you will receive an email containing instructions on how to connect your safe. If you are an existing customer and already manage your safe using codelocksconnect.net, you cannot continue to use your safe in this account.
